STAN LEADS THE WAY

A RARE 1939 STANDARD FLYING 8 TOURER.

My family and I enjoyed a sun drenched weekend at the Romsey Bank Holiday Show.

Thanks to the entries in the Standard Club Web Site we were sought out by many members from around the country.

We were also approached by other Standard car owners that are not yet members keen for details

This was invaluable to the launch of the New Forest Group.

Our highlight of the weekend was when the organisers of the event asked us to lead the parade of pre war vehicles. A proud moment for driver Darrell and junior mechanic 11 year old Oli
